Windilab operates the website at windilab.com. This page explains what happens to information when you visit it or write to us. It is short because the site does very little.

What the site collects

This site has no accounts, no comments, no shopping and no forms. It sets no cookies of its own and runs no advertising or analytics scripts.

Like any web server, the server that hosts this site records a standard access log for each request: the IP address, the date and time, the address requested, the referring page and the browser's user-agent string. Those logs exist so that faults and abuse can be investigated. They are kept on the server for a limited period and are not used to build a profile of you, are not sold, and are not shared for advertising.

When you email us

If you write to info@windilab.com, we receive your message, your email address and whatever you choose to put in the message. That mail is stored on our own mail server so we can read and answer it, and a copy is forwarded to the operator's personal mailbox. We keep correspondence for as long as it is useful for the conversation it belongs to.

We do not add anyone to a mailing list from an email they sent us, and we do not send marketing mail.

Third parties

Nothing on these pages is loaded from anyone else. The fonts and the styling are served from this site's own server, so while a page loads your browser talks to us and to nobody in between. There are no trackers, no analytics, no social widgets and no advertising scripts.

Cloudflare runs the DNS for this domain, which means their name servers answer the lookup that turns windilab.com into an address. The page itself is then fetched directly from our server, not through them.

The site is hosted in the United States.

Your choices

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to info@windilab.com and say what you want. If a legal obligation requires us to keep something, we will say so rather than quietly ignore the request.

Changes

If this policy changes, the revised version is published on this page with a new date. There is no separate notification, because the site keeps no list of people to notify.
